Research: Why is branding important to our industry

Our Artists Brand Image; 

-Young,
- sexy
- and urban

This image will appeal to our target audience and we will  'push' this through our video and print products.

Our target audience is 16-30, so we will include in our video, elements of the male gaze (Laura Mulvrey) as the artist is male and would need a female companion. But not too much that it would take away the main focus of the artist. An example of male gaze would be in the Katy Perry video- Friday night.

This is shown when she walks down the stairs and her character has developed.
